de Garis Designs is a 2020 creation and certainly a product of lockdown. It marks a turning point in my career and the re-kindling of an old flame. It was strange feeling of déjà vu to have paint brush in hand again early in 2020 my first large canvas in a long time. However, I was strangely excited and immediately bubbling with ideas, translating into my first collection of paintings.

Within hours of uploading my first painting for sale it sold. I since have had lots of interest in my paintings and have been painting to order and also now have a collection of works which you can view and take away with you off the shelf within our studio in Curdridge.

​

I have been interested and involved in the arts for over 22years now with the last 10years or so being a professional photographer. I have a keen eye for design composition shape and style with a speciality and love for colour. I have always been inspired by nature and the sea it is often my happy place to escape when need time to reset.

Art Education

Bachelors of Art with the privilege of attending The Bournemouth Arts Institute gaining BAhons in Commercial Photography.

 

Earlier studies took place at Fareham Arts School in Hampshire with specialised interest in Fine Art fashion textiles graphics, film and media studies and photography.

At de Garis Designs, we create art for your space this can be commissions with colour requests and ideas kept in mind. Where we come to your home measure up and sketch ideas for your art piece and is a complete one off depending on the commission it can take up to 8weeks for painting and framing.

 

Or if you prefer, we have works that you can buy from us straight off the shelf and you are able view at the studio, which is located in Curdridge Hampshire only 20 minutes from Winchester and also you can view our paintings available on our website.
