Kimberley began her artistic journey at a young age, mixing paints in her nan’s silver teapot and splashing paint on paper in her spare time as a child. Kimberley's paintings are inspired by the beauty of the South Coast of England and its offshore islands.”
In August 2023, Kimberley set up her very own gallery de Garis Designs Art Gallery. de Garis is a family name from the Channel Island Guernsey and has been used as a family name for generations so she is delighted to hang the family name above her gallery door.
Kimberley's paintings are inspired by the beauty of the South Coast of England and off islands. The attraction of Cornwall features a lot in her work it is a place of many travels for her as a teenager, also a place where her family resides. Kimberley now spends a lot of time with her own family as a mum of two and you will often find her in the Isles of Scilly sketching on an island. The jurassic coast, Isle of Wight and Chanel Islands often feature within her work. The constant desire for her to explore English coastlines is a constant pool where she sources a lot of her creative ideas.
